Best. Cheese. Ever. We always make sure to stop at Widmer’s every time we drive up to visit family in Wisconsin and they’re not allowed to visit us in Indiana unless they bring a cooler full with them! Once a 5 lb block is opened, it’s gone within a week tops. Beyond grateful that they also ship since we can’t drive up as often as we’d like. Widmer brick cheese is a priceless national treasure and deserves its own holiday!

I’ve been trying to perfect home pizza for years. I came upon a recipe for Detroit Style Pizza on SeriousEats.com and they recommended this Brick cheese. I have to pay a bit to ship it to Idaho but boy, has it been worth it. The pizza is incredible. I’ve served it to friends and they love it. It keeps fresh for a long time and tastes delicious.

I purchased this cheese to mostly replicate a Detroit Style Pizza. It is a delicious slightly mild creamy melty cheese that could be used in any cheese application. I highly recommend.

The cheese is as I remembered when I lived in WI. I moved to TN 7 years ago and cannot find the cheese down here, so went online and ordered it. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this cheese. It is a bit pricey especially when they add the shipping cost. I am going to try to get one of the grocery stores down here to order it and then see if I can just buy it there.

I picked the Mild Brick Cheese (5 pound brick) and within a week, we were enjoying the marvelous Brick cheese we’d been missing since leaving Pennsylvania! The smooth creamy texture and nice satisfying taste is well worth the effort of ordering online. I buy my mom a brick of this cheese every year for Xmas. She grew up in Wisconsin and ate cheese like this every day. The smile she gets on her face when she bites into this cheese makes me so happy. I also get a half a brick for my aunt, my mom’s older sister, and she almost cries when she tastes it. Aah, the taste of childhood.

Grew up in Wisconsin, now live in Denver, Widmers has always proved to be one of the best. The brick cheese is something I grew up on, and the flavor is unbeatable. For sandwiches, tacos, dips, a snack with crackers, it goes with just about anything. Will definitely order more to be shipped out to Colorado!

My wife and I are both originally from Wisconsin, but we haven’t lived there for more than 40 years. When I was a kid, my father used to periodically stop in Theresa for the express purpose of buying an entire case of the Widmer mild brick cheese, which was divided up among grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. After no longer being able to find it here in central Texas, we finally decided to order some online directly from the factory’s web site. I must say that it tastes exactly as I remember it, mildly smooth and buttery, the best there is. No place but Wisconsin!

My family used to have to drive from southwestern Ohio to get this Cheese. Now, We mail order it. It has ALL the flavor one would expect from a 5 star Wisconsin cheese!!! We look forward to this time of year. This is because were able to order the Brick Cheese. I know we can get in the summer but it has to stay cold. So the cost of shipping in the summer puts out of range.
As the cheese ages the taste gets better everyday. You will not be disappointed ordering this cheese. I would bet you order another right after finishing the first one….
