Description
Pepper Cheddar Cheese 1 lb Heritage: Prior to 1850, nearly all the cheese produced in the United States was Cheddar. Cheddar production in Wisconsin began in the mid 1800’s and by 1880, more Cheddar was produced in Wisconsin than any other cheese variety. Today it accounts for a large percentage of the cheese made in the state, which makes Wisconsin the leader in U.S. Cheddar production. Description: Rich, nutty flavor becomes increasingly sharp with age. Smooth, firm texture becomes more granular and crumbly with age. Usually golden; also available white. Slice for sandwiches, snacks; shred into casseroles, soups, sauces.

We found your shop in Theresa while visiting family. Stopped in and got some of this cheese & others. It was so good we bought a 5 lb block to bring back to KY. It lasted about 6 weeks so we had to order some for shipping. The downside is that it costs too much to have shipped. :-(

I live in California and have this cheese shipped to us regularly. If you like great cheddar with a kick (don’t worry it’s not too spicy)… this is the best you can get!

This cheese is awesome. Great tasting cheddar laced with jalapeno pepper bits. Just the right amount of spiciness. Highly recommended!

We love visiting your business. Harder to do mow that we have moved.

I have eaten half of the cheese, it has a good burn, but not that can’t be tolerated. Makes and awesome grilled cheese sandwich on rye! I would highly recommend this cheese.

Purchased our first jalapeno cheddar at The Cheese Cave in Faribault, Mn. and loved it. Did not have it at any of the places listed on their web site, so I ordered on-line. In my opinion, it was worth the added price to ship it to North Dakota. Very tasty cheese!
